Forever

When my lessons have all been learned
Then I will see how I have yearned
For things that were not real
Then I might pause and kneel

I'll speak to God so true
And I'll know why I was blue
He'll take me by the hand
As we walk the road of sand

We'll talk in words I did not know
And I'll see the final episode
Of a life he gave just to me
And then he'll say "You're finally free"

Come to my arms they'll hold you tight

No more will you feel so blue
No more shadow, just guiding light
You've come to daylight from darkest night

No more tears or feeling sore
